Work
Well, it's actually sitting down all day but you get the picture.

I make my living, what there is of it, in the hi-tech, hi-speed, hi-risk world of I.T. (*YAWN*).

Actually, I do quite enjoy it, even after so many years. I've been a programmer
since the dark ages. I also do a bit of web design (if you like the look of this site let me quote you for doing
yours!) and consultancy just to add a bit of variety.
I'm currently running two computers in my office at home, one running XP Pro and one running Fedora (an offshoot of Red Hat Linux). I also have an IBM
Thinkpad which I use when visiting clients or when I want to work downstairs because there’s something good on the telly (very rare). It’s all networked
through a Belkin wireless switch (so in the summer I can work in the garden!)
The whole thing is connected to the outside world by an 8 meg ADSL cable modem. You very quickly get used to the speed and once you have, anything
else is like wading through mud.
